I drove a 4760 on a forage harvester for a couple days and thought it was one of the best tractors I've ever drove, if they brought that series back I don't think they would have a problem selling everyone they built. If you ever get a chance to drive one don't turn it down. Th

is there that much foam and plastic on those tractors to make them burn with such a intense heat ?
@w05600756811 жыл бұрын
I'm really glad to see that you plan to resurrect this machine, as you say finding many of the parts second hand will definitely help to lessen the financial pain, but, how difficult do you expect that to be within your time constraints? Are there any personal safety issues for you from the results of the fire? I know the emergency services are very wary about burnt out cars for some reason - what I don't know!

I won't ever give you a thumbs down on any video you make,,I have enjoyed them immensely ,, of particular interest to me were the 4450 transmission series ,,and the 7810 power quad rebuild ,,I am learning a lot from watching you do it yourself ,,currently I am rebuilding a 445 Minneapolis Moline ,and I have done a 5020 Re-power ,,I replaced the original Deere engine with an 8V-92TT detroit diesel which came out of a large truck ,, a lot of guys use tractors modified like mine for tractor pulling ,,I don't I use mine for WORK ,,I got a jeep J-30 I use for pulling

How did the tractor cetch fire anyway
@Graveltrucking11 жыл бұрын
Sure would be nice to find a parts machine have them sitting side by side swap what you need sell the rest. Like you said it should be a fairly easy repair looks like the cab was gutted and burned across the top of the engine. I guess until you start tearing into it then you will know what you got ahead of you.
