Love it Danny reminds me of where I started, my current roach record is 2lb 10oz and I don't think I'm ever going to beat it. People who fish prioritise carp and overlook roach, rudd and bream but a great swim build up and mastery is unrivalled
@DannysAnglingBlog2 жыл бұрын
Cracking pb mate agree totally and fishing for roach helps you work out baiting for carp like kn here imagine how much hemp you could waste carp fishing on here

Loving the diversity of fishing on your videos Danny, always beautiful scenery and no secrets kept on how you approach the swim, baits, tackle and tactics, I definitely agree if your willing to walk you will find pegs out of the way, which produce quality fish as you have just shown us, tight lines Danny till the next one.

Nice video, love the waggler. I make my own wagglers as there are not many places around me that carry them let alone know what a waggler is. A video about roach on the whip, that's a yes from me.

What a mighty fine net of quality roach! Thanks for sharing this angling session. Would love to see how you approach an unknown swim, plumbing up before setting up?
@DannysAnglingBlog2 жыл бұрын
Generally I go on water darkness for jnitisl set up where go as in darknwater deep shallow isn't. The. Just try and find a flat area so baits staying where I put it. On some river vlogs on float I show how I plumb up rivers

Smashing net of roach, great scenery, unfortunately, because of health problems I can only go to my local lakes, no matter what bait most bites are carp. They're not difficult to catch, average is 8 to 12 Lbs with odd ones up to 20 Lbs, I've found using cockles rather than corn or maggots, I get a few decent roach, rudd and bream which I prefer. It seems that the whole tackle trade and commercials are obsessed with carp but look on Ebay at the amount of carp gear for sale from folk getting disillusioned. Take care Danny, Norfolk Ray
@DannysAnglingBlog2 жыл бұрын
Amen!, agree totally and missing out on so much of other angling. I have same issue on some.lakes I go whip just not option till frosts due to carp

its almost old fashioned now.. a waggler for roach.... but it feels like proper fishing.. that elastic fishing does nothing for me .. .. fabulous condition fish ..i think the cormorants have eaten most of em down here in kent.. .. id love to see you use a 5m whip here when ya ready... but nice one...

Im shocked and don't know how corms havnt found this yet its been like this for at least 7 years. There's no snags as such and as see roach are in open water
