This is SUPER clever. Basically what's happening here is the accessibilities button at the login screen is changed (using a win10 usb installer) to launch cmd.exe, and then using that the account password can be set or admin account added. This worked to fix my laptop that had no administrator so couldn't run anything as admin. Thanks for this tutorial!

first of all thank you very much i got back into my user account through your instructions. i had to enter "net user administrator /active:yes" at the end, because my user account was connected to a microsoftmail. I think I became a victim of a Windows bug or something. How did this happen? I changed my motherboard and CPU from my PC and came into Windows as usual. Then I got a Windows notification that my Microsoft account needed to be repaired and I clicked this button. I had to enter my PIN and everything was fine. But after I restarted my PC it suddenly asked for a PASSWORD and no PIN anymore. That's when the shit went down and I suddenly couldn't get back in. I changed my Microsoft password 3 times but it didn't work, the administrator password which was asked for has nothing to do with it. I tried many things I found in Google but nothing worked. Then I found your video and could create a new administrator. The problem was that I could not change or reset my password from the user account I was trying to access, there was no option to do so. I then switched to my old user by ctrl + alt + del --> change user and then the PIN was asked and I could get back in !! Unbelievable what kind of shit happened to me that took me several hours but fortunately everything is fine now. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP I WILL SEND YOU 5 EURO VIA PAYPAL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

FIX: Use Safe mode So if your acc got fucked the FIX is: open cmd prompt in safe mode and use create acc and make administrator commands there. Or maybe just simple safe mode and acc edit through control panel (haven't tested this). New acc may load for longer than usual, mine did, i thought it was stuck. After that if you want to regain your old acc, use his video to reset everything as it was before problems cured. Set acc rights to admin (not other, mine was set to other Sophos antivirus).

But if I understand your correctly, to start, I need to get on a accessible computer, and download the windows 10 creation media to a USB flash drive. Then insert the drive into my "locked" computer and then boot it from the USB flash drive. Then follow instructions from there. . Please let me know if I have the correct beginning process. On the command prompt menu on startup type (net user). The yous should see a built-in administrator account. Try (net user administrator active:/yes) The parentheses indicated the commands you need to type. Type the account name exactly as shown. Let me know if this works.

I have to change my admin password to update my system bios it's weird as hell because I can log in into my account and use desktop I try to use the same password to login for admin access to download the driver's to update my bios because I'm installing a new SSD and I think my computer can't boot properly because my bios isn't updated it's a real head ACH why isn't my admin password the same as my login into the account I am on the admin account but it says my admin password is wrong when I try to download the driver's :(
