Residence Permit in Turkey by Investing in Property | New Rules, Requirements and $200,000 Limit

A developing country like Turkei is great for budget tourism with its affordable and hospitable tourism sector. However to get property residency ,it is way overpriced .It is neither europe,nor canada/ USA and not even gulf arabia ,dubai or malaysia. Its heaveliy taxed country with taxation on world wide income and very earhquake prone ,not to mention financial instability,even Fatf grey list . So I really wonder this 200k minimum limit on property residence is just a way to discourage foreigners purchasing properties there. May be someone can prove otherwise

Make sure to get the expertise report first so that it shows the value above 200k

Immigration office told us that it is not needed after 16.10.2023. They check the value on the title deed.

Except touristic residency, you cannot apply to citizenship after 5 years.

$200,000 is the title deed value of property. Tax and costs are not included. There are many costs such as title deed tax, valuation report fee, currency exchange report fee, real estate agent fee.
