Hello, I have a question. I am a visa requiring IMG with decent scores. Yog: 3yrs. I am a surgery match aspirant. Some of my mentors have advised me to do 2-3 more yrs of research in Mayo clinic. While some others have advised me to avoid research as it will increase my yog. What should I do? 2-3 yrs of research or avoiding research?
