Easily the most spine-chilling soundtrack in the game. Really makes you feel like you're Jill Valentine running through the zombie infested streets of Raccoon City. Damnit bring back the old Resi games that had the killer atmosphere, never known suspense like the first 3 RE games. The feeling that something was always going to get you even if it was quiet, the having to conserve ammo so as to not run out because if you did, you were fucked. The atmosphere that would keep me sleeping with the lights on for weeks after each play through. Nostalgia overload right here.

Esse jogo está nas minhas primeiras memórias, 20 anos atrás, lembro até hoje quando meu primo me passou o controle logo no começo quando os zumbis emboscam a jill no beco, o desespero bateu, pouco tempo depois eu estava zerando, foi uma briga com meus pais pra me deixarem jogar um jogo violento sendo tão novo.quanto a trilha sonora....essa específica, é inexplicável...bons tempos.

Best resident evil game ever. Nothing will beat the creepy atmosphere running through post apocalyptic raccoon city alleys. The sense of dispair scavenging every last bit of useful item, while you know the number of people infected is rising and you're being hunted by a huge prototype monster.

I would agree with you...riiiight up until you leave the police station at night and go through that door with the lockpick. It was perfect, the first 10-20 mins of re3 is incredible, resident evil survival horror at its best. It has resi 1 and 2 beat and 4 i think beat in terms of first 20 mins. After that it turns into a kind of survival action game and the atmosphere kind of disappears. Its not bad at all though. Re3 is a great game. But it should have had the survival horror quality of the first 10-20 mins continue on for atleast half of the game.

This is music full of dread and despair. Not only does it emphasize the depressing fact that Raccoon City is lost and nearly all of its citizens are dead, but poor Jill is alone and stuck in the middle of it while being chased by the Nemesis. Combining it with the ambient wind blowing and distant zombie moans just makes it worse.
