2:08 Anime Sheva This video is fairly impressive. I was under the assumption that RE5's cutsenes were first storyboard/drawn then designed artists/animators/modelers. To think that they were all first live acted by the character VAs and even stunt doubles. Also, to hear Karen Dyer (Sheva's VA and model actress) talked about having to go through formal training for how to handle weapons.... it seriously sounds like the development of an actual movie as opposed to a video game. This may explain why video games cost $100+Mn just to develop.

@Jonathan Soko I'm reminded of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin when it comes to RE. Forever did stupid good money, more than Returns. So, natural response? Give em more of it, even moar Forever. Everything people whine about with RE 5 & 6 were pioneered by 4 (more action, QTE's, better aiming. Nevermind the fact that most of us played the first games when we were kids. Of course they were fuckin scarier back then. Now, the only scary thing about them are the tank controls. I really hope they reserve the mechanics of 6 for the Mercenaries in the 2 remake.
