It makes sense that Eveline is angry and the main enemy. She's different like Rosemary. Has powers that can kill, control things she shouldn't be able to. She wanted Ethan and Mia to be her parents, but they refused and rejected her. Rosemary has powers too, and is different. And yet to Eveline, they still chose Rosemary. So she's angry because despite them being similar, they chose Rose instead.

Frankly, I think Eveline was an unstable little psycho from start to finish. I can understand that people will feel pity for her for just wanting to know how it felt to have a family, but she took it too far even before she became attached to Mia and later Ethan. Whenever anyone called her ‘a little bitch,’ I knew they were spot-on by saying it because she never tried to really offer anyone the choice to be her family and she just turned anyone she came across into mold filled monstrosities. In RE7 when she asked out loud why everyone hates her, it just makes me despise her even more because she was never willing to admit that what she did was horrible and died still being a crazy little bitch.

I'm not sure if it's just voice direction or the voice actress' voice changing, but Eveline seems to sound older here. When she talks, it's like a mix of a child and an aged old woman. Unlike in the original RE7, she was always very childlike until the very end. A nice touch to testify how long Eveline has been rotting inside the Megamycete and it's no wonder she's slowly going insane. Kind of sucks how we never got to reconcile with Eveline, especially with how Mia and everyone in Umbrella treated her. The only person who would be able to is probably Rose. Sucks how everyone still treats her as a failure rather than a misstep.

Nice of Evelyn to show up in Donna’s place for 1 last hurrah too. Still feel sorry for her though. Yes, she’s evil to the end, but she never had a chance to develop any ethics or morals, nevermind a family. By the time this DLC ends Evelyn will never find a family or peace, she’ll float in that little jar of Mold for all eternity…

I think I caught a glimpse of how the afterlife is from this game. When we died our consciousness enter into the ethereal realm and the essence and what's left of our consciousness will become our manifestation in the spirit world. Meaning if I feel angry during my last earthly moment then what's left of my consciousness will be largely anger and my astral manifestation will continue to be an angry person in the astral plane. I will either continue to exist as these consciousness or I can put down my anger and rest. It's a state of awareness manifestation and non awareness. Very much like our earthly world. It's either you are feeling peaceful or angry or some other feelings when you are awake and going to sleep when you are tired or spent.

I don’t think it’s the after life. Ethan Miranda Evi and maybe countless others connected strongly with the mold continue to live in the hive mind. Their physical body’s destroyed but their conscious living on in the mold. That’s why when Miranda saw ethan “manifest” she seemed mostly annoyed by him as i’m sure they had their run ins with each other in the hivemind and neither one can’t die in there as far as we know. Same with Evie, She knows the others are there with her but they seem to ignore her completly or lock her away in her own section making her feel unwanted and question why they only want rose. The way Eveline says why is everyone so focused or loves rosemary so much is interesting to me because these two girls stories are very similar both were granted with powers/abilities and since they look like regular humans no one would think their a threat but the one difference between the two girls is that Eveline was created with the mold and wanted a family but never got it while the other Rosemary was born with the mold but her parents still loved her and gave her the kindness and affection Eveline never got. I hope we see Eveline in re9 it would interesting if mia tells rose about evelines past like how she just wanted a family but didn't know right from wrong and along the way rose tries to show eveline the difference between good and bad and they grow closer and become sisters.

I can’t hate eveline. I know she’s done bad things but she’s been through worse. And she hates herself and her life. She gets angry at rose because she has the mindset of a ten year old little girl who thinks that she is a freak who has powers who were pushed on her, she’s hated and because of this she’s rejected by the person who promised to be her mother. (Remember that Mia made that promise before eveline did anything bad. She hadn’t hurt the bakers she hadn’t killed Allan.) and then rose who thought she was a freak and everyone hated her for Mia and Ethan as parents who would do anything for her. But they killed eveline. So yes I am miserable that we didn’t get an alternative ending to resident evil eight where all the bakers lived, Evie didn’t die and cause ethan and Mia could have listened to her and her want of a family they could have tried looking after her. I think that she would have loved having rose as a sister if Mia and ethan had cared for her and then we could have had resident evil eight where Evie and ethan fought Miranda both for roses safety and revenge for her helping experiment on eveline. In this universe the four lords don’t die (maybe Moreau and Alcina die because they wouldn’t listen to reason if they tried to talk) cause eveline would want to be donnas friend (awesome lady with a cool house and talking living dolls.) and try to talk to her and make her feel better about the cadou in her eyes and Heisenberg would listen to eveline because they both know the pain of Miranda’s psycho experiments. All in all, we lost this ending because Mia was judge over a little girl who wanted to live in a normal house not a lab and broke her promise. Shadows of rose probably wouldn’t have happened because eveline and Ethan would have helped rose feel better about her powers and resident evil 9 could have been these three bio weapons kicking the asses of another villain who could be even cooler and bring in older characters like Jill valentine and Claire redfeild.

@@iancruz6617 ethatn's heart got ripped out by miranda in the main story. which caused ethan's mold powers to go haywire think of ethan's heart as some sort of core that keeps his body intact despite sustaining crippling and fatal injuries. and when miranda tore it out his body was having a hard time keeping him intact.
