Here's a fun fact: Before the boss fight, if you open the coffin where the knife is but don't pick it up yet, Lady Dimitrescu despawns from the castle. You can go back and explore an empty castle pursuit-free to get those CP achievements - aside from any small enemies you may have skipped (vampire grunts, gargoyles, etc.)

A loving family infected and corrupted by Eveline's Mold and influence. They knew they were infected and were powerless to stop it. Zoe could see the fractured sanity where her mother did everything she could to stop Eveline from harming Zoe, but in the end failed. In this scenario however; Alcina Dimitrescu and her daughters are all infected. Very well aware of their situation and could rationalize their actions. They slaughter people without mercy, Alcina desires to torture and devour you alongside her children. The line could be more powerful if the daughters were reluctant to your death. Or if their deaths weren't necessary. As if Ethan had to willingly seek them out and kill them for an advantage through the castle. But on another hand... Alcina loves her children. Daniella, Cassandra, and Bella were Mother Miranda's experiments and Alcina took them in lovingly. When one of them is killed; Alcina cries out in sorrow of her loss. A mother's grief is felt in that moment. She doesn't see her children's wrongdoing as she raised them that way. They are above humanity, and to lose her child to a human is heartbreaking enough.
