Hi, what you do is great ! If I make/create a plate that I don't like, can I modify it ?How can I modify a resin plate ? = put it in the microwave to melt it? In hot water? Or with a paint stripper? Thank you so much.

Hi Vicky, you cant re purpose cured resin, its a type of plastic it wont melt back to liquid form, I wish it would sometimes but it cant 😘

All of your creations are beautiful! I'm interested to get the premium heat resistant resin that you have a link for, but just wanted to ask you if this resin will work for hot beverages? I'm having trouble finding a resin that hot coffee mugs won't stick to! Thank you so much.for sharing all your wonderful art with all of us!
@EdnaWargon4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Carol, nice to have you watching 😍 when it comes to the resin question send the girls at justforyouonline.uk an email, they're a nice bunch of ladies and ask them all the questions to do with resin since I'm not the manufacturer I just use it. However I personally never put anything super hot on any of my coasters because in my opinion resin is a form of plastic and anything hot would melt it or leave heat marks. I have used it for warm cups and even in my candle plates with candles lit and it works fine. 💕

Just like everything else, there is learning to be done and perfecting a technique takes time. With a medium like resin, you will probably find it hard to make the same thing twice. It will be similar but not exactly the same. And you may even find a way that works out better each time you think you've got it down. Be patient with yourself and don't give up!

DeAnn Wilson you can also buy a silicon mat on amazon about 10.00 then with Kitchen silicon in a squeeze tube from homedepot by the caulk stuff. Squeeze a ring/ shape onto the silicon mat . Let silicon ring dry then pour in resin. You can make custom molds like this.

Yes up to a certain temperature. You have to ask the resin manufacturer, each resin is different.
