It’s 11pm during the coronavirus lockdown. On an ordinary day I’d be fast asleep before having to wake up early for the daily grind. But instead with this apocalyptic global event, I’m high AF learning how to make resin art. And I’m f***ing loving it. ☯️

Hi you can use a heat gun but on very low but I prefer an embossing tool as I use and if you watch some of my other videos explain more about these tools if not you could just use an air compressor or a blow dryer works just as well 🥰

These are lovely! Using the brand of resin you do, and given your experience, how long should one wait until the coasters are resilient enough to use with a hot upon tea?
@EdnaWargon4 жыл бұрын
It's a great question which I get asked a lot and there is just one simple answer it really does depend on the BRAND of resin that you use and I use many different ones depending on what I have in stock and what I can order in. However my advice is, if your resin says cured in 48 hours, 2days, double it! that's to say before you put a cup of tea on it wait 4 days instead. However even this formula isn't 100-percent as again each resin company has their own components and their own recipe and you will have to do trial and error tests with each resin that you buy before you use them.
@informedandfree98284 жыл бұрын
Good idea. I believe I will wait two months before I test my trivits I made from countertop resin that says it’s fully cured in 30 days.
