Hello, I have chronic pain throughout my body. When I get flare ups I cannot go to church and nearly spend all days in bed until it calms down. KZbin with Sensus Fidelium and Ascension has been and continues to be an open window to my Catholic Faith. When I am stuck in bed this provides me great solace and greater knowledge of my Faith. Perfect timing Fr, this topic has been on my mind this week. Silence is so nesescary for me to be closer to God. I need the silence to be in God's presence in prayer, to be able to pray from the heart. No wonder Saints sought the hermitic life. Godbless and protect you.❤🙏Daily holy Rosary for Religous Clergy and a Holy Vicar on earth and the exposure and removal of the Wolves in Sheep's clothing.❤

Consider making a silent retreat with the Opus Sanctorum Angelorum. You won’t be disappointed. It is worth it if you have to travel to do so.

I read the book and enjoyed it very much. It gave me the feeling of: "I must read this again and fully digest it!" The book goes through each part of the person, explaining the "noise" that occurs in that area, and then explains the preferred "silence" in that area. The idea is that we are disordered and not self--restrained in key areas and so we live in constant noise, which causes us to miss what God had originally planned for us. We are happiest and thrive when we learn to practice "silence" in all the areas of the human person - we find balance and gain true liberty by discerning what is noise in our lives and where more silence needs to be exercised. Again, I'm about to read the book a second time, with much excitement to fully digest and practice the key principals of "silence." Blessings to an excellent author who practices what he has written!

@@DarrenCarrie God is love, mercy, but too often people forget he is JUSTICE. Nothing unclean can enter heaven, every blemish to our soul must be purified. Moses disobeyed God when he wanted to obtain water for the people in the desert, in his anger he struck the Rock twice, because he did this he was not allowed to enter the promised land. When God's wrath was poured out on Sodom and Gormorrah Lot and his family were the only survivors. The Angels warned when they left the city they must not look back, Lots wife disobeyed, looked back and instantly died, becoming a pillar of salt. A husband and wife told the Apostles they would sell all they owned and g i 've it to the Apostles for the poor. After selling everything they thought it would be ok to hold back a little for themselves, the Apostles asked the husband was this all the money from the sale, he answered yes and because he lied he instantly fell dead. Later when the wife was asked she also lied and instantly fell dead. Church Fathers revealed, out of 100,000 people that died and lived evil lives only 3 were saved. The Virgin appeared in Fatima and said men were falling into Hell like snowflakes, the greatest number are those who dont believe it exists followed by sins of the Flesh. In Noahs time only 8 were saved, and today the World is far worse then anytime in history. God is the Creator of all, the King of Kings, we are nothing, on Mt Tabor, Jesus transfiguration, when the Apostles witnessed Jesus divinity they fell prostate in Fear. In the Bible it is written to work out your salvation in fear and trembling. Many souls go to Hell for all eternity because, no-one prays for them. God says the closer you draw to me the closer I draw to you. It takes discipline, and perserverance in daily prayer, fasting, reading God's word, loving ones neighbour as oneself, great effort on our part. Jesus said I am coming for my small flock, the majority will be deceived by false prophets, wolves in sheep's clothing. It is only by God's grace we are saved so we need to be very close to God through constant prayer, many are called, few find the narrow gate. Praying the daily Holy Rosary is a weapon of defense against temptation and sin. 7 deadly sins, Pride, Envy, Lust, Gluttoney, Greed, Gossip, False witness. Unrepentant sin.Pray🙏❤
