ResMed - How to fit your AirFit P10 for AirMini™

1. Pick up the mask and ensure the labelled left and right nasal pillows are positioned to match your left and right nostrils.
2. Hold the nasal pillows against your nostrils with one hand, and pull the headgear strap over the back of your head with the other.
3. Split open the top half of the headgear, so that the lower strap sits at your back of your head while the top strap rests on your crown.
4. You can readjust the pillows by pulling briefly on the mask away from your nose to reseat them and ensure they’re upright.
5. Once pillows and straps are secure and comfortable, you’re ready to start therapy.

I understand that there is “outlet” for masks to diffuse some air out when u breath out. How about Airmini? I couldn’t feel any air out of the mask/ connector when I breath out of my p10. Does that mean I am breathing the CO2 back? I do see the tiny holes on the normal p10. But there isn’t such holes on the p10 for Airmini version.

All of our ResMed full face sleep masks - including the P10 for AirMini - are equipped with exhaust vent holes to allow continuous flow of air out of the mask. Also, The AirMini system comes with a vent system to prevent carbon dioxide build-up in the mask. The vent system must be kept clean and clear of contamination in order to function correctly. See page iv of the user guide - linked here: bit.ly/3ulw5u3 - which shows how to clean the vent. If you are not feeling air out of the exhalation vents while the machine is turned on and providing CPAP therapy, please check to ensure there is no dirt or debris blocking the vent holes. If you have any concerns about your mask, please discuss this with your medical equipment supplier who can assist you directly.

I always wear O2Ring while I sleep with a mask. The statistik data of AirSense provides (Lekages, AHI, etc.). but, it does not make evident your SpO2 (oxygen saturation)in your blut. So, an independent SpO2 measuring should make this evident. This is O2Ring! Or your doctor in sleep labor. But how often you go to sleep labor for professional check up? Once or twice in a year. So, what sbout inbetween? Does your SleepApnea therapy with yout device/mask helps you to bring oxygen saturation to 95% or whatever is is OK for you. Idealy 100% oxygen saturation. But depends on your age you'll never resch 100%. I am a man 66y and my O2Ring traks the average of 95%. The same was measured in a sleep labor with professionsl equipment. W/o a mask I stay below 90% and I a very tired in the morning. So, if you feel well, fresh and recovered in the morning then it is good sign. However, every once I check statistik data from the AirSense AND from the O2Ring.

Hi hope someone is available to answer this question. I recently received my Cpap machine and I’m currently using the Airfit 10( sounds like a pair of Nike’s, lol) anyways, it comes with the different sizes and I have done the test with all three and the app states it’s an ideal fit. How am I suppose to know exactly which size to chose from and if it’s sitting upon my nose correctly?

I slept with the small and medium and both have similar results according to the app, the number of times I took off the mask is higher when I used the smaller nasal pillow. Like the thought of using the machine is stressful but actually using it is causing me more stress.

Since you mention getting similar results from the small and medium sizes but since you take the mask off less frequently while using the medium size, this might be the direction to go. Ultimately the mask should be comfortable while providing a reliable seal to ensure you're getting the most efficient treatment possible.
