Yey! I thought I'd lost access to a bunch of waves plugs after doing a 'Repair'. Sorted now! THANK YOU. Waves should change the way they work, man. 'WaveShell' nonsense... takes me back 20 years. Studio One all the way for me these days (ex-cubase user)

Just chiming in with a comment - you MUST have "scan plugins at startup" checked for your waves plugins to work. I could get it to say "plugins will be updated on next launch" but S1 didn't actually update them on startup until I checked that box.

Good work. That solved my Waves problems. I also had similar problems with XLB plugins. For those I had to re-manage the computers that I had listed on my account ... XLN had ceased to recognise my licences ... same computers , it just lost my licences.

I just bought Waves Harmony. I loaded a vocal track and added the plugin. I added a midi track and had it output to Waves Harmony. When I open the plugin and sing I can see the midi is connecting but I cannot hear any sound. I can hear myself singing but not the harmony. When I record the vocal and midi the harmony does create a midi file and I can hear it on playback, but of course I haven't been able to hear it during recording so it's sort of useless. Help?

Hi John. A bit of a random off topic question, but I'll try and help. FIrst, what DAW are you using? Secondly, have a look on youtube to see how others are setting up the plugin. (I don't own that particular one)

just updated all my plugins and fl studio cant find the plugins even with the correct path added.

@@wtfst4rz sorry to hear it's not working out. I don't use FL Studio so unfortunately I can't help specifically with it. Maybe follow the link in the video description to the original solution. That involves deleting, then re-adding the path. Hopefully that'll give you an idea that will work. - and yes, Waves are pretty f'd up about this complicated system.

Yeah, I have this problem... sometimes the plugin just doesn't open or do anything! I have Studio One 6 Pro. I assume you do, too. I have a PC, though.

Sorry to hear you're suffering the same Waves problem as the rest of us. I am indeed on 6 Pro, but on mac. If you followed my solution in this video and it didn't help, try watching the previous video linked in the description. That shows the 'classic' method. That may help for pc.

Which version of Studio One are you using? It could be before that was introduced. In that case, check my first video about how to do this outside of Studio One. The link is in the description to this video. Let me know how you get on.

I'm done with this company, I've been messing around for hours. I've never had an issue like this with any other company. Too many hoops to jump and then not all plugins show up.

I can totally understand your frustration. I've weened myself of pretty much all of the waves plugins I was using these days. There are quite a few videos giving advice on alternative plugins to ones from Waves.
