Apex has been around for 6 years and I played for 5 years since it came out and I'm disappointed in what it is today. I genuinely used to love playing Apex but it was ruined with the micro transactions aka a full work day of pay. The way they split content into a $160(USD) purchase then you need another $20-$60(USD) to get just some visual effects hurts to see. This doesn't include heirlooms and heirloom skins there basically $500(USD) this is $14,000(USD) assuming there are 28 heirloom rarity items for purchase. At this point it's just spend money simulator and it sucks. This isn't mentioning how they just nerf characters into the ground then slightly buff them when the community is pissed about the nerf. Whenn level perks came out most abilitys became trash just so you could get the primary function of it at purple tier Armour. They stopped focusing on quality of life and chose to make it a cash grab but why should I spend money on a game I don't enjoy anymore.

A lot of people enjoy it, they have lot of issues to address but overall is a good game, people saying "play other games, I'm playing COD now" makes me laugh, that community is complaining 3x more. That company has way more money and the game is really trash. And in my opinion, Marvel is cool, graphics, cinematics, but don't see too much longevity, at some point you get bored too is very one dimensional after a couple of hours. People are playing it non stop (streamers) because of course they have played other games for 8 hours every day, of course it feels really fresh and exciting.

I've just recently started playing Apex more serious within the last 6 months. I still love the game, I started late I think season 19 or so, but came from call of duty. It's tough to find another game that has movement on par with apex, Marvel Rivals feel so slow. I think if tbey just let you pick which mixtape mode you wanted that would bring some people back.

I’ve played apex since day one with over 3k hours. I left a couple times here and there but always came back. Idk what to do to possibly fix the game. The game is much too sweaty to try to take players away from rivals. I don’t think there’s really anything they can do. I fear what will happen is that apex will die they’ll slow development for it, secretly work on tf3 and an accompanying BR and ruin that as well. Either that or EA will move them over to help DICE develop a BR for the new Battlefield. Or they’ll just be a lot of ppl out of jobs unfortunately I hope at least they retain their jobs because times are tough.

It’s crazy how a game like Marvel rivals comes in makes its own record and the next month breaks that record you don’t see that anymore with video games. I don’t think Apex will ever get back to that point where they have over 300,000 concurrent players on steam. I’m not mad at mythic weapon skins as long as they are FREE and replace the level 100 weapon mastery reward. That’s the only way you should justify that bc the weapon leveling system at the moment is a joke. Also, so much for “systematic change”. What he really meant is tripling down on monetization. Marvel rivals will honestly be around for atleast 10 years. It's only been out for a little over a month and they already adjusted characters not by just nerfing them but both nerfing and buffing single characters to not make them completely useless. I will say that the match making in ranked is absolutely horrendous though. You can be in Plat lobbies and have people in there that are either very terrible or very good. There is no in between and the balancing is just non existent. On the bright side, they even came out with 3 new modes already in this short time it's been around. It took Apex forever to do something like that.

The support changes with the support class and Loba and Mirage changes are great once they touch the skirmisher and assault classes. The game will be even better. Literally all they need to do is fix matchmaking for public matches first ranked second and turn on the 20 bomb in 4K badges in all game modes and let it rock.
