A lot of respect to Kole. I watched this one several times; the older men that have watched baseball for years giving thumbs up to Kole for being a class act. The braves fans awaiting for a reaction, and Kole just takes the coolest route to congratulate that kid on a great catch; everyone around claps and gains huge respect for him. That was just super cool.

Kole stoicly acted like Seneca and delayed the urge to madness. It takes a lot of nerve to control your inner reaction in that split second. This is a life lesson for us all. Players love the fans, but they hate stuff like this. The game is already so tough. Players already have to worry about crowd noise, now they have to worry about crowd interference? But what’s so noteworthy about this moment-is that despite Kole’s immediate and visible frustration, he doesn’t get upset. He doesn’t yell. He doesn’t say or do anything at all for a full beat. He takes a breath, he reaches over and then he gives the kid a fist bump...telling him to be ready to be the #1 play on SportsCenter that night.
