Eating 1-2 meals all my life, i dont need more, and i love small portions, and drinking water afterwards. And if you dont eat some days body is reseting your system. Also avoid processed food, it's expensive and not good! And what Sinclair said, hunger and coldness is also beneficial.

My gf tried intermittent fasting, 2 meals per day. In one month she lost so much weight, looked slim and beautiful than ever. But later she faced weakness after 2 months, she grew pale, her haemoglobin dropped low, and she experienced fainting too often. Initially she resisted to these signs but I urged her to switch to her normal routine and eat 3-4 meals a day protein rich. She did the same and now she is again all energetic and cheerful. Some people aren’t meant to follow 2 meals per day. I dont want me or my partner to live hundred years weak and pale, instead give me only 60 years but with full vigour and liveliness.

A lot the longevity practices that work well on men don't work well on women, and can even harm female hormones. With women, longevity research should be focused more on the ovaries since they age faster than the rest of the body, and menopause increases many age related health risks like heart disease and cancer.

Dr. Huberman, a serious question: Dr. Sinclair said, at 8:32 in the video, that his test can predict "time of death." Why did you leave that clear misstatement in?
@AgiyiАй бұрын
This is not Dr. Huberman's channel, so he has no control over the editing of this exact video. Now, if you're talking about the editing of the original video on dr. Huberman's channel, I dont know, maybe he doesn't want to "edit" or cut out something his guest said. He is responsible for his own words, if his (professor) guest says something, it would be weird for him to edit their words.

@@Agiyi Thanks but wrong. What is weird, to use your word, is for Respire, whose slogan is "non-negotiable takeaways from popular speakers" to rebroadcast a patently false claim about a test that predicts time of death. What im seeing is that an unhealthy man not controlling his blood sugars and taking metforman isn’t necessarily going to live longer because of all of the inflammation in his body. But I understand is we live way longer than our ancestors so why would we want to do what people did who didn’t even make it to age 50 90%of the time
@RespireOfficialАй бұрын
Our ancestors lived shorter lives *on average* because of much higher infant mortality, infections, lack of antibiotics, effective medicines, etc.-not due to diseases of aging (cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc). It was not like people grew old and died at 50. Many lived into ripe old age, although they were perhaps the lucky ones. David’s idea is that our bodies evolved over millennia to endure adversity and hunger, and that many of our modern diseases perhaps result from an overly easy, sedentary lifestyle.
