It is a double-edged sword. The PH market will quickly respond, but there have been some youtubers who have also been cancelled when people found out about manipulation, clickbaiting or more specifically pinoy-baiting. No harm in testing the waters--between and around the islands. 👍🏻

You're a hardworking guy that deserves to be rewarded. I'm a retired Fil-Am living in Las Vegas. Left the Phil when I was 20 & spend most of my days watching KZbin Phil videos for nostalgia and to keep up with the huge cultural & infrastructure changes since. I cringe at some foreign vloggers' approach but still reward them with my subscription/views for their efforts. I'll surely watch any future videos you make there.

Thailand has already opened on May 1st. 👍😁🇹🇭 I'm a Thai person. Our country don't try to compete with others in travelling. we just do it best in our way for our country. You can go anywhere you need. Which is good to you, depends on your dicission. let's fun everywhere you go that is best.👍😁
@mimimiao69212 жыл бұрын
I agree. My country PH is not trying to compete who is the best country too we are south east asian and we are siblings so it’s better to support each other. Every SEA country has different culture and tradition, it is better to explore not to compare each country, but to experience. There’s a lot of amazing things to discover in Asia. Explore. 😊

Kudo to you Mickey! We Thais never compete. We just happen to attract travelers around the world for “who we are”, never beg never yield. If we lose travel vloggers to PH just let it be.

All countries are very unique in their own way. We openly welcome you here in the Philippines. I think why Philippines is a go-getter for many foreigners is not just the country it self but the people. We are very culturally diverse. We are very appreciative; the hospitality is unreal. Filipino and English are commonly used here that gives a big factor to travelers, aside from other dialects.

Just try Philippines because you really have the point! There is no harm in trying and as youtubers, its better to explore the world not just only in Thailand. If you really want to stay in Thailand, better to learn Thai language or have Thai subtitle. As Filipino, we really love Thailand🇹🇭I love their BL series because they have the English subtitle. English is not our main official language but we can speak and understand English because it is part of our education system. Thailand is more expensive compared to Philippines since Thailand is the most visited country in the world. We subscribed you just to support your channel.🇵🇭 To Thais🇹🇭 we love you too since we are siblings, same faces😍💋. Let us support them.❤️💚Visit also Malaysia or India..lots of English speakers too...

Both are beautiful and have their own distinctive characteristics that would set them apart. Being a Filipino living in Thailand, I love Thailand for being quiet which is the opposite of my country. Thailand is more organized comparing my country when it comes to observing traffic & others. Both are friendly, but Filipinos are more open, and vocal because of the idea that we could speak English as it is our official language but not the sole official language.

Couple of things that I hope will make sense to you and other viewers. 1. Straight up facts: Yes, the Philippines does have a lot of English speaking people. They may not be good with grammar but you can definitely talk, send and receive the message. If you ask something and they cannot respond in a complete sentence, they for sure will give you answers, may it be few basic english words. It means they will understand you. 2. I agree to the other commenter. Its a double edged sword to vlog in the PH. If you show sincerity in your vlog, not only praising everything but also providing your viewers with a real honest and constructive criticism, they will definitely still accept it. They would rather see the honesty rather than being click baited. 3. There are also bad things about the PH. Some will try to take advantages of you, possibly scams, over priced service or goods, especially you're a foreinger. This is the same with other countries. Best advice, other than watching other PH content videos, ask first 2 or 3 locals about the thing you want to explore, buy or agree upon. 4. Its going to be probably a culture shock. Some practices, culture, etc are way more different from your country. All you need to do is respect it and if you dont agree, or want it, you can definitely just say NO in a respectful manner. 5. Sincerity will definitely bear fruits of loyalty. Filipinos are naturally born with a welcoming attitude. Show them love and they will treat you not as a friend or a guest, but a family. 6. Try to live the way we live. Though not literally, but experience the real nature of how it feels like to be a Filipino. Its going to be an experience and an eye opener for you. And maybe a good content as well. 7. Foods are awesome. Though some may say, Thai or Indo or Vietnamese food are more authentic and traditional, its good to try and not compare. Filipinos love their food and cooking like its part of their soul. Again, its ok to say NO in a polite manner. 8. Poverty. This is rampant everywhere in the country. You can show it or maybe add that as a part of your content but not to the extent of making it look as what we call, Poverty Porn. You can show and comment on it, again, in an honest and respectful way. Better if you can rally support in helping the community by promoting whatever they have to offer. 9. Learn to love the culture and the people. To truly show the world that the PH is just not only a vloggers paradise for vlogs and clicks, learn how and why we appreciate people who show us, our culture and our country. Yes, we are not all the paradise that some vloggers claim to be but you can definitely feel at home once you learn and experience the Filipino appreciation. Enjoy the travel, be safe and keep the momentum. We appreciate your honesty in making vlogging as a means of income and we'll help you in any way as long as its honest and real.

I skimmed through your other videos after watching the video about vloggers moving to the Philippines. I think your videos have decent quality; however, I think there’s a huge oversight on how those vloggers actually get more views and subscribers. I watch a lot of foreign vloggers in the Philippines and I’m Filipino, but I’m very selective of who I subscribe to, and it’s not because of what they’re showing or where they are, it’s because of the connection I feel with them. I follow the foreign KZbinrs in the Philippines because they have an interesting personality and their content feels more like a series of a show. But, I also subscribe to vloggers that are not based in the Philippines. Yes, I agree, that’s a huge part of their success but, it’s more of the story line and personal connection in their content that keeps me watching every week. I think most beginner KZbinrs focus too much on the technical aspects of KZbin like algorithms and likes. They start to forget about why they’re making videos in the first place. You lose originality because KZbin is a saturated platform and you need to let your authenticity cut through the same generic content. The viewers will stick with you if they like you, and this adds more depth to your content. You can always enhance the quality and worry about the algorithm as you gain more success. Make videos that you enjoy and actually show the viewers that you’re passionate about what you’re doing. Other successful big KZbinrs have said it over and over again, “focusing on the algorithm and metrics won’t solve your problems. Make videos that you love, and the rest will follow.” It sounds like a huge cliche but it’s true. As a viewer, I won’t even watch the video if I don’t feel a connection with the KZbinr regardless if their content is good. I might watch the full video of that person, but I won’t like or subscribe. I might see another video of them in the algorithm for next time, but I wouldn’t be clicking on it right away to watch the video. There’s a lot of foreign vloggers in the Philippines but not all of them are successful, and this goes back again to being more authentic. Likes and views don’t really dictate the quality of videos. They subscribe to you and keep watching your videos because they feel connected to you and your content.

Then Language we meet. we dont have a right to command..as that is what thier country being patriotism in thier culture nd flag.. True unlike in Phils..yes even Carabao english in street kid..you can cummincate them..bcoz brotherhood in being hospitable country is very common in Philippines..but still they will always lead you in a right direction...but still i remind whereever you are..Always be a Self Safety Reminder..im a Filipino and one of youre subscriber..good luck..

My ex wife watches KZbin videos from the Philippines all the time as do her friends, its just something they do. She is there now visiting after being away for many years but looking forward to going back to the UK tomorrow because as much as she misses the Philippines she wouldn't get the life she has now if she was still there so KZbin for many is the next best thing to remind her of her of her country of birth. She says that things are also getting more expensive there, not just in Thailand.
