In one word “Pagan” this law student called me a ‘village bumpkin’. My ancestors endured over 600 yrs of Islamic rule which wanted to convert them to Islam and 200 yrs of British rule which wanted to convert them to Christianity and still continued to be “Pagans” and continued followed their own culture and religion and gave it to me as my heritage. You think this confused law student calling me “Pagan” will shame me or make me desist ne from accepting my ancestors? A law student....not even good at what she is studying as her arguments show and wading into the field of religion and culture without master her own field of choice is nothing more than childish behaviour.

We have to look at the content People can talk non-stop nonsense but it does not mean that they are difficult to argue with. Our school/college education system (based on western education model) teaches just one dimensional and limited "cognitive" intelligence. But Rajiv Malhtora and people who seek the truth have multiple intelligence. - Social, moral, spiritual, emotional and cognitive intelligence. No matter what you throw at them, they could neutralize it easily

I would like to see it as a Father and Daughter discussion. Because he was harsh and gentle, when needed, like a father. and she was putting her point, discussing (agree to disagree) with respect and understanding like a daughter. A happy yet little heated, elder and younger discussion or knowledge transfer.

Handled? Crushed her. She was just trying to trap him in technicalities, like most law students do. I being a law student know how this works. However, since she already has her mind fixated on what she thought was right and her facts been incorrect, demolishing her argument was a cake for Rajiv ji who is the master in his subjects.

Our country India is filled with so many such youths who are always ready to challenge their heritage without really having invested their time over understanding the traditional subject matter. the root cause of all problems in the world is the language they speak. the mother tongue language defines your way of behaviour, it defines the way your brain works. just compare all the major langguages spoken all around the world. each language speaking population has a particular mind set. ancient indian sages has developed a particular language which by practising since childhood will give a beautiful outgoing mind set,with minimal interpersonal conflicts. Suppose malayalam speaking population are liberal, respectable population with very minimal conflicts. Tamil speaking population are very extreme ,whether it is love or aggression. chinese speaking population are very dedicated discplined population. german , russian, english, spanish, italian. etc are all having their own traits. As the girl in this video said, sanskrit is perfect for computer coding. no other language has these features. Hence we have to agree that, we are very lucky to be born in india with such a great linguistic culture. Language is the backbone to any culture. and unfortunately our sy.phi.list.ic first PEE.YEM became a toy of those foreign religions and disgraced india by allowing their language to become official language of india.

Very sad to see an otherwise intelligent young Indian make such a huge blunder by saying "the Northeast has no links to sanskrit". Obviously her education did not talk about the deep cultural links between the Northeast and ancient India. King Bhagatdatta of Pragjyotishpur (today's Guwahati, Assam) was a participant in the Mahabharat War and the kingdom predates the Ahom kingdom. Ulupi was one of Arjuna's wives and a Naga princess. One of Krishna's wives was Rukmini from what is now Arunachal Pradesh where the ruins of Rukminigaon are still visible.

Rajiv is doing a great job rekindling ancient India's pride and sense of identity amongst the modern Indian youth. He has to also start criticizing and join the movement against untouchability and caste system in India too if he wants full acceptance from wider public. So far he seems uninterested as it doesn't concern him immediately or affects him in any way. Or maybe it just might offend his main supporters - the brahmins and pundits associated with Sanskrit and ancient texts and he may lose his credibility. Big dilemma. This young girl is amazingly bright and focused on her points. A great discussion.
@ArjunSingh-097 жыл бұрын
trhl he has never supported any of these things. Now if you want him to talk like a politician to appeal to the masses, that's not going to happen. His field of work in not limited to the "caste, cow and curry" stereotype of Hinduism. It's not a mark of greatness to just parrot some hot politically correct terms unnecessarily to do virtue signaling like leftists do. It's actually a mark of mediocrity. Him doesn't calling caste as evil every paragraph doesn't mean he supports it. As far as repeating some PC phrases to the satisfaction of everybody, that isn't possible. Also your assumptions give away your narrow mindedness. "Brahmin" supporters. LOL If you really know about RM, he tells in many videos about how Brahmins are lazy, they haven't done purva paksha, they haven't developed the swadeshi indology, they excuse themselves from responding to the likes of pollock and then criticize RM when he writes books that do so. He has faced attacks from both west academia and some TRADITIONAL "BRAHMINS" too. It's not that all the Hindus are gaga over him. He blames Indian conquest by invaders on the Brahmins not doing their scholarly duty (purva paksha). So there goes your narrow minded assumption.
@trhl11557 жыл бұрын
Arjun Saini When Rajiv tries to put Sanskrit and Indology on a high pedestal he will have to face the negative aspects and criticisms as well. As he says the west like USA loves talking great about itself (exceptionalism) and believes they are the best, but they also encounter difficult questions like slavery, massacre of native American Indians, racism etc. Every coin has two sides. You have to be honest about it and not shuffle it under the rug. So I think it is your narrow mindedness rather for not accepting the reality which is a problem. True knowledge is only gained by understanding the facts not ignoring them because it makes you uncomfortable to talk about it. Untouchability and caste system is a bitter truth of the Indian society that unfortunately still exists rampantly everywhere. And yes Rajiv does rely strongly on the blessings and approval of the big name Swamis and Pandits who are the major players in the world of Sanskrit and Hinduism. It gives him credibility to be seen sitting side by side with these figures. The slight criticisms he makes regarding purv pakshas as you mention is nothing very offensive to throw him out of favour but criticising the caste system and untouchability will definitely raise the ire of many,.

@1SuperMind5 жыл бұрын
You cannot separate Dharma from Religion, but you can separate Religion from Dharma. Dharma is both above Religion, and part of it. Religion may change, but Dharma never changes. For example, if I ask you to bring me a glass of water, your duty is both Dharma and Religion. But if you continue bringing me water although I asked you to bring me juice, it is still Religion but not Dharma. The Dharma never changes. Your duty is to abide to my particular request, not to act to any other request, be it past, present or future. That is Dharma. But the Religion will change as my request will also change. That is the difference between Dharma and Religion.
