on eBay there are lots of vendors who will do custom decals. The KZbinr "oldshovel" uses a Cricut to design and cut his own vinyl decals/stencils for his bike restoration projects

Why no clear coat over the graphics??

There were a few issues with this project. The original frame had a rough texture, the vinyl graphics I ordered were too thick and the adhesive wasn't strong enough, so they started peeling soon after application. In hindsight I should have either used the vinyl graphics as stencils and done a two tone paint job, or taken the time to smooth back the surface of the frame and re-ordered the graphics in a different material/adhesive. I will just have to have another child so I get another chance at a redo!
