Restarting Bc I HATE My Island | Animal Crossing New Horizons

I love how in previous animal crossing games, you go to delete your town and they act like it's the apocalypse. But in new horizons, you just go into settings, press a button and poof, no more island.

Right?? The big deal they made in the original game, panicking about you deleting and leaving your friends in the town etc, but NH is so anticlimactic 😅😅

I know right. In the other versions they made a whole drama out of it but now it’s like you press that big red button and ‘SUCCESSFULLY DELETED YOUR SAVE DATA’ and BAM gone like it never existed 😂🤣

I don't really like that method because there's no starting with a good amount of Bells in your ABD next island and the catalog will also reset. I'm not sure if I want to reset at all...

I support this! If I didn't share an island, I'd be resetting every month. Love the beginning when you're hobbling together mismatched furniture and getting hustled by raccoons!

i really..REALLY want to reset my island as I genuinely dont like it. But the only thing thats stopping me is the fact that ive been playing on my current island since the day the game released. I have a bunch of old items/collectibles such as the easter stuff, the raymond stuff. Also, losing all the old 2020 dates in the museum will hurt me..a lot. Like I really don’t know what to do…

I think if u really want to reset u should but you don't need to rush and think through it fast I think you should js take your time making ur choice.

I feel very lucky with my new island on my new switch, I had lost my old switch lite under very depressing circumstances so it’s almost like Nintendo knows and is blessing me with my restart. I got Reneigh and Dom for my starters, I love my island layout so dearly, an orange airport which is ok (old one was blue so it’s a little sad for me…) but everything else I love.. kept playing and I got Sasha and Apple moving in with the intro villagers that you get in the beginning. I keep getting shooting stars, visitors like redd (twice in a week is that normal?) and great turnip prices… Having fun so far 😂❤ the luck is definitely making the loss of my old island easier to bare… but I cannot describe to you at the same time what was lost… I can’t imagine purposely deleting it

since I cant afford a switch yet, ive been planning my own island theme using stuff like the villager wiki, nookazon and pinterest and its actually been really fun!! its going to be a forestcore abandoned village that a spaceship crashes onto, so half of the island will be very futuristic and spacecore while the other half will have lots of farms and natural terraforming. im soooooo excited for it and i even have all of the villagers i want with storylines and potential builds for each one lol

I restarted my island about a year ago now and I really loved my old island, but I was trying to terraform and start with a theme but it was beyond repair. It would have cost so much to move everything and the name was “Peachy” (with a space at the end so whenever villagers were talking about it they said: “Peachy !”) and I hated most of my villagers. Now I’ve named my island Star Shire (a name I absolutely LOVE) I’m working on this kind of pastel/galaxy theme; and I’m really starting to love watching it come together. I’ve even wrote up a list of my dream villagers! Here’s to hoping it all goes well

It's okay to reset your island I do it to it's fun to start fresh like you just playing for the first time this game is all I play and I own lots of switch games but this is so fun relaxing I play it a lot . I have a switch and switch lite so I reset both and it's just a joy I have played all the animal crossings but this my all time favorite

In my opinion Yellow is summer - yellow for the sunny days Orange in autumn - autumn leaves Blue is winter - ice and frost Green is spring - the green that grows back on plants

I've restarted my islands a couple of times already, but I've been considering restarting again. The island I have currently is super cute and is 5 stars, but I never actually finished it. If only I could just make a new save file, but sadly I can't! (I don't share an island or anything, so it's not too much of a problem) I've been considering restarting because I literally have no motivation to finish my island. Also, almost every time I've restarted I've always gone with a pastel/ stars theme (Since my name is Sparkle lol) So if I restart, I want to try a different theme. I'd love to do a summer themed island or a forest core island. :3

I deleted mine cuz my favorite Villager asked if he could leave... I really felt so sad. Almost heartbroken. I just stopped playing for months. I could just never look at the island the same. So I'll let my villagers free and let them live on that island forever. While I move to a newer one.

will you be trying to get brewster's cafe on this island- Im struggling so hard because there was requirements when the middle museum upgrade was available but now if you restart and upgrade museum it goes straight to museum with art exhibit All videos showing *How to get brewster quest* talk about unlocking art first which is understandable but I have the Art exhibit now and am confused as there isn't any videos to help newer players with it

I did get Brewster! With brewster you just need to have one thing donated to each part of the museum aka one fossil, one fish, one sea creature, one bug, and one piece of art! After that, I believe Blather’s talks to you about upgrading to the cafe and inviting Brewster!

I'm trying figure how to start my island with the catalog. I did it once. My very first island on new horizons. I was able to sell my island to tom took nook. But I don't see that setting anymore.idk if my house was fully upgraded on my first island. It was either fully upgrade almost fully upgraded. Im thinking they either removed that feature or I have to have my house upgrade to sell my island tom nook to start over with bells and catalog. I just care about catalog.The bells I can get back. There older video of KZbinrs and players who restarted their islanf with catalog but I can't find that many. I'm wondering if they removed that feature.
