Thank you! This video was a huge help when I installed my pintop shocks!

I appreciate Carli making an installation video. Unfortunately, it doesn't help a whole lot because the guys installing wouldn't slow down and the camera guy seems to just not want to get in there and show what is being done. The lighting is poor in some shots as well. I was hoping to install my kit myself but can't find enough information to give me the confidence. I've heard bad things about the instructions that come with the kit as well. I installed my Jeep lift but don't want to risk the Carli set up without clearer direction.

This was not made by us; the guys at Resto-Mod 101 did this. It's better than anything we've turned out (as we've never turned one out) lol but certainly isn't perfect. Hoping to have time, one day!

I’ve been looking on the carli site and can’t find a price or the 4.5 pin top just curious I have a 2022 f250 I want to put 37-40s on

On the 2022, the 4.5 is technically a 5.5": carlisuspension.com/product/ford/f250-f350/5-5-suspension-systems/2020-ford-f250-f350-4x4-diesel-5-5-systems/pintop-system-2020-5-5/

Why would you hide those rear reservoir's? And why didn't you show the compressor installation? Does the kit not come with one?
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
Hiding the reservoirs... Well, we mount them, we don't hide them. There's no where to mount them that would really "present" them well as you'd need to run them to the outside of the frame with a really long hose if you wanted them on display - we wouldn't do that unless forced to. No compressor, these were setup for manual fill.

That was great but I would appreciate no music. It was really annoying after a while and I thought very unnecessary. Otherwise great job and truck was insane

Such a pain in the buttocks Ford putting that driver side front bolt with the head by the gas tank , had to do the same thing to a truck I build that I powdered the leafs on. Great vid.

Are the limiting straps required? Is there another way that doesn't involve drilling, cutting, or welding?
@thecarlisuspension3 жыл бұрын
The limiting straps come with the Carli Radius arms - if you plan to get airborne, yes, we say they're required. Welding them on is really the only way on the Super Duty.

Where is this shop located?

Not sure, we didn't actually get to go there during the installation. The Guys at RestoMod101 handled it all!

Why is it called Pintop?
@DanTourino3 жыл бұрын
We were early adopted of King shocks in the HD truck platform. Pintop refers to the Pin/Bushing style upper mount; these off-road race shocks were available with eyelet style mounting requiring shock towers or stem to eye adapters prior to King making us a specific "Pintop" style shock. It's named the Pintop because, at the time they were released, it was a HUGE deal that King did it for us. After all these years, we've kept the name the same as everyone knows it by this name.

What is ICS’s contact information? The website I found doesn’t say anything about doing installs.

Not sure unfortunately; we didn't have contact with ICS. The Guys at RestoMod101 handled it all!

This isn’t really a restomod. Carli makes kits for the 2017. If you want to do a true Restomod the put it in a truck it wasn’t designed for. Example, a 2004 F350. I have just the truck if you want to make a video. Still, great video, Carli make the best stuff for Super Duty Trucks!

RestoMod101 was the name of the channel - seems not every video relates to their namesake but a cool video none-the-less!
