I first became aware of Alvis cars, as a teenager in the 60's and have been a huge fan since. Sad to say many people don't recognise the brand, but those that own them, cherish the style, quality and the mystery. Fantastic cars, long may they (with your help) live!

I have a picture of Tony Curtis in a 1965 TE21 LHD Drophead reg: DKV 627C parked in Deanery Mews, London. The picture was wrongly captioned: Curtis and his 1938 Bentley.

They were very beautiful motor cars that contributed to the upper levels of the English motor car industry. How sad that it has gone or gone to foreign ownership. There was a brief sight of a letter from Buckingham Palace and I know that the late Duke of Edinburgh was a huge fan. I think he owned a TD convertible in the early sixties.
