This is a Mid-Century American of Martinsville Credenza/Sideboard from the Dania Line by Merton Gershun. This piece was manufactured in Martinsville, Virginia, USA. I purchased this gorgeous piece several years ago for $100. I used this for several years before finally deciding to apply a new finish. For the refinishing process, I will scrape all the old furniture finishes using a carbide scraper. I will sand the remainder of the finishes with 150 grit sandpaper in preparation for the new hardwax oil finish, Rubio Monocoat Pure. This is one of the easiest and most rewarding finishes for any woodworking DIY project. If you are looking to flip furniture for a profit, credenzas, hutches and buffets are great furniture pieces that yield a nice profit. Thank you for all your support. Barry

Great shift in video format! I loved the use of only ambient sound in the first half; it gave the project a sense of immediacy to hear just the tools and surroundings. This is a lovely old piece of furniture. You did right by it with a clean-up and no paint. I enjoy all your camera angles; that must greatly increase your production time, but it's much appreciated on the viewer's end. Your content never fails to interest and often amaze me. As much as I love hearing you speak, as you have such a soothing voice, I enjoy this format just as much. Since I have a passion for furniture restoration, I find the whole process enjoyable. I like to hear the "tick tick tick" of the hardware hitting the tray, the "tap tap tap" of the little hammer, etc. What a gorgeous, unique piece. It could fit with a multitude of different decor styles and there is so much organizational storage space. You always do justice to every piece of furniture you get your hands on. I never get tired of seeing which brass pieces will end up on top of it at the final reveal. 🤍

You put so much time and attention Into your pieces. What most people would find tedious and exhausting u seem to find therapeutic and rewarding..I love that. There so many details that u display on these pieces that someone like myself might have overlooked..wouldn't have bothered doing. But that is what sets your work apart from most others that I watch on KZbin that refinish or flipping furniture. I told u before...i never like mcm furniture...not at all....but your channel has opened my eyes to the beauty of these pieces that I myself would likely have not noticed or would not have considered worthy of the time it takes to truly restore to their original state.
