I've seen dozens upon dozens of movement repair videos, and they are amazing. The thing that is just so interesting to me now is the bracelet rework. The little device that pulls the links apart and presses in the new posts is so cool. I want one and don't even need it! This guy welds MORE metal and then gets it to the exact dimension for perfect fit. He is a true craftsman in every sense of the word. I look forward to his video drops.

Exceptional work as always, specially the case welding and bracelet. Do you have videos of other problems aside from case and bracelet or movement service. Like what if a watch fails the pressure test. What are the remedies for that. Also internal parts that fail on certain parameters but still works.

Ich habe eine Frage: Ich habe selbst eine Uhrenwerkstatt und viele Qystergehäuse aufgearbeitet. Zum zweiten mal sehe ich in deinen Videos, dass du die Kontaktkorrossion unterhalb der Lünette nicht entfernst bevor du anfängst das Gehäuse aufzuarbeiten...! Dies dauert keine 2 Minuten auf der Drehbank mit Glasfaserstift und Schleifpapier. Wieso diese Vorgehensweise? Mein Vorgehen: Teile ins Ultraschall, trocknen, Korrossion entfernen nund dann gehts weiter. Grüße aus BW

Hallo Wilhelm, ich bearbeite die Fläche unter der Lünette immer im letzten Schritt. Sehe keinen Vorteil dies zuerst zu machen, ich müsste diese nach den Hörnern dann erneut machen. VG Daniel

Hörner Innenseiten gehören eigentlich net bearbeitet/ Geschliffen weil dann passt die Standardbreite vom Armband bzw Anstoß doch nimmer und es gibt Spiel? Vorallem sieht man die Innenseite der Hörner doch später sowieso net bzw Wenn en Metallband montiert wird sind die doch gleich wieder verkratzt

You have a lot of time to repair that old bracelet where a lot of people would just buy a new one, I suppose the cost with the gold links would justify the time it took to repair, although I can imagen the hours to do all that tedious work adding up to about half the cost of a new one!

In aesthetics some 16013 models excellent lusterous grade of gold was employed. I don't believe Rolex Ser Ctr can or would even even do such restoration ie rewelding (!) case lugs and sides back to specification? And the meticulous restoration of the bracelet hardly knew was even possible. Rewelding 'each' link.. you have to be kidding lol. Just.Remarkable.
