Thank you all for watching and leaving comments. This is just a quick comment to clarify a couple of points that seem to keep cropping up. 1) Yes the upper ball joint was installed in the wrong orientation, I got so caught up with the filming that I didn't double check its position this has now been fixed. 2) Loctite takes around 24 hours to cure fully so when I applied it to the threads I was well aware that I was on the clock to get the parts lined up properly and torqued which was done. I hope this clears up any confusions about the work done. All the best, RRC

Excellent work mate. Couple of tips raise your blaster up or get a bigger one .bet your backs killing. Also if you put a valve on the bottom you get better blasting. Also have you tried coating hot ? Get the parts to around 160c then coat them it goes on thicker and covers old rusty parts a lot smoother. So the pits are not as visible. Regards Dean Triple-7-Refurbs

I cannot wait to see this car finished. I had for 22yrs a 1988 CRX Si, it was my daily driver. Winter, summer, rain, LOVED IT. It rusted out so I brought it to a local body shop, they stripped it down and made it like new, NOT as new as what you’re doing but good enough for me. Then I found out we’re having a baby, so I had to sell my baby. A two seater doesn’t work with a car seat. I told my wife, before I turn 50 I’m getting back my two seater sports car. Now I have 09 MX5 GT hard top. Love the Miata, but I still miss my CRX. Can’t wait to see yours finished.

Heads up @ 36:20 the upper ball-joint was not installed in it's correct orientation. There should be a small alignment dot on the top of it indicating the direction of installation (facing outwards of the vehicle). the ball-joint has reliefs cut only in one direction which prevents it from binding up during complete compression and extension of the suspension. Worse case is the ball-joint pops out on a hard bump!

Hello, I had a 1991 crx si. It had a jdm B16 swap with LSD transmission. My favorite part was the 5 lug conversion. I had 91-92 civic 4dr spindles with Acura integra hubs milled down to fit the bearings. Acura dual piston calipers from a legend. Acura integra rear control arms with RSXcalipers swap so the e brake would work. Then I ran stock s2000 front rims (4). So they didn’t rub on the spindles. With a nice wide tire that car was awsome on the curves. Good to see your progress and excellent workmanship.
