Beautiful billhook, similar to those used in vineyards from Greece to southern Italy. Accurate and meticulous restoration, even if I would not have used the welding machine on the part of the cutting edge. Very elegant handle: originally they were often inserted by roasting the wood with the red-hot tang which in turn was curled at the end. I envy your expertise and the tools you used.🤑

No. No es un encargo, en mi zona, levante Mediterráneo, Alicante España, se le denomina "podon". Es una herramienta común para podar e injertar, muy utilizada en viñas. Algunas veces va provista de un mango largo para alcanzar ramas altas. En mi colección tengo una identica, pero de una sola pieza, sin remaches.
