Excelente trabajo con el baño de potasa a pincel y una obra de arte el plano de tapa de cilindro y block con amoladora. Se necesita tener un pulso nanométrico para lograrlo. Y el bruñido de cilindros con lija al agua, es de otro nivel, igual que los asientos de válvula con amoladora recta y taladro. Mis felicitaciones! 😄

the way the new rear main seal slid in i would be very worried about losing oil lol. We Americans call this a "Dirty backyard rebuild". No resurfacing, no measuring any surfaces or new parts. full trust in manufactured parts. Slap it together and go. Good work man. Damn. even painted every single machined surface, pulley, and linkage point rofl

No honing the cylinder walls for new rings? (Must be a low mileage engine) How bout some thread locker as well? Otherwise…. Overall very efficient & quite clever at times. The paint scheme is a bit garish, but they did bang out the dented oil pan, that was cool!

I have to speed up--sort of editing--this and many other videos like this one, in which they try to film every single bolt and pieces they're taking off and putting back--from start to finish. They want to record continuously without hardly making cuts somewhere in between. That is not necessary. You take just two bolts off and we, the viewers, get the point; then you change to a different video shots which they are all related to what you're doing.

Silastic on the bellhousing was a bit weird ….rear main isn’t fitted to bellhousing so there is no oil on it !!!

Why would you want to replace something like this. This engine needs 1 wire to run. Modern engine needs 125 sensors to to turn over.

А как же расточка коленчатого вала до ремонтного цилиндра? А хонингование цилиндров? Зачем использовать те же цилиндры и те же кольца? Я надеюсь он хотя бы шатунные и коренные вкладыши поменял, хотя без расточки он при протяжке может затянуть из так что потом не провернуть. В таком ремонте смысла нет

no se veían fallas evidentes pero seguramente le sirvió la renovación de las partes de desgaste, la limpiada, el reacentamiento de las válvulas y el reajuste de tensión en tornillos y tuercas . lo único que no me gusta es que no aprovecharon para rectificar las superficies. con eso lo hubieran dejado como nuevo.
