I cannot believe that I only found this practice today. The difference of my back pain is incredible. Some of the poses were quite tough and I had to readjust to be able breathe deeper. My back feels so much better. Thank you. ❤

I am so glad this helped Tatjana. I often use these poses for my own SI issues and while I agree - they begin uncomfortably, I definitely feel better soon!

As a yoga teacher myself currently with a left SI joint inflammation and occasional sciatica, and about to teach an online Restorative Yoga class, I thank you for showing that yoga teachers also can still have body issues to deal with, regardless of the number of years practising. And I sympathise with you and see myself in how you are carefully moving in and out of the postures. An inspiration for teachers and students alike who are dealing with some kind of physical pain or discomfort. Caring for the body means caring for the soul. Thanks Aprille xo

What an amazing practice!!! I love how you say let the asanas and props do their work and then you let them! The minimal cueing really lets me sink into the healing. Plus I can play my own, soothing to me, music. The magic of this practice? While my lower back was so much looser at the end, so was my very troublesome neck❣️ Thank you!

Thank you so much! This class really calmed the pain in my SI joint. Have you ever visited a chiropractor for your SI joint pain? If so, did you find relief by doing so? I never have but I've been considering it lately. I'd love to hear your thoughts about it :) Thank you, Aprille!
@YogaRangerStudio3 жыл бұрын
You are very welcome Michelle! I have not visited a chiropractor for SI as I believe they can indeed "pop" it back into place each time but essentially it won't resolve the problem and most people will have it slip out again and again. For me, being mindfully aware of what poses or positions or practices I did that caused it to flare up and making adjustments to those has been a long term solution. Journaling on when you feel the pain begin, what exacerbates it, how it feels in certain positions or doing certain tasks can be helpful in choosing modifications to avoid the flare ups altogether.

@@YogaRangerStudio Thank you for this! I've thought about the popping action and wondered if that would be the best thing for it. I repeated this class again this morning and will also consider keeping a journal when I have flare ups.
