The trim and bumper is super durable and thick, you don’t need any extra stuff really, I just washed it was soapy water then wiped it dry, then applied like 3 coats and it looks brand new

Nice job as my kid and I did his 2003 Jeep Wrangler fenders a couple of months ago and they came out nice....Those are fun DIY projects....Good stuff...

Update, it still has not faded and my dad owns this Jeep now. It sits outside all day and only gets washed every few months. Even after I painted it is sat outside all day long at my old job.

Hey! I heard you mention Nebraska. I just bought an XJ and I'm also from Nebraska! What part are you from? I know this is an older video, but I really enjoyed it!

I’m from the eastern part of the state around the Columbus area. I actually sold my XJ after my wife and I moved. I wanted a more comfortable vehicle that got better mileage as I now have a commute to work everyday but the temptation is always there to buy it back from the old man!

Nice video man. I'm about to do this myself. Noticed the pinstripe, did you have that done? Also what kind of mud flaps are those they look really clean.

Pin stripe was done by a local body show about 10 years ago. It is a 3M vinyl pinstripe that they used. Mud flaps were on the jeep when I got it back in 2010. Thanks for watching!

They were installed from the factory. It’s a 2001 Sport trim
