I loved my S3… It got old very quickly which meant it couldn’t keep up with most apps! I did however drop it down the toilet, cleaned it up and sold it for decent money at the time! I may reinvest and store as I’ve done with other phones!

How did you clean the edges of the glass so well? You cleaned the LOCA again after it hardened? From 13:04 to 13:43 is a big difference.

No I cleaned the edges fully before hardening it finally. I cleaned it with a plastic razor blade, and with Isopropyl Alcohol and microfibre cloth. I couldn't show the whole cleaning process, I needed to edit it.

Amazing! But I wonder why you didn't use tape to secure the broken digitizer when removing, or used only one card to remove the LCD :o In any case, patience is a virtue and the results speak for itself! Excellent job!

Thankyou! The front glass has a laminated layer underneath, which holds all the glass in 1 piece, so it's not necessary to tape it. Fyi, the glass is not a digitzer, its just glass, the digitzer is layered on top of the AMOLED display.

any suggestion on where should i try to look for a red display and back cover for an S3? i have a red one with unfortunately a broken screen and no back but i do have a new frame i could use for it with display adheasive preinstalled. the colors actual name was "Burgundy Red" if i remember correcly... never mind i just looked it up and it was "Garnet Red". i mixed up the red from the S8 and S9

I remember when I was recording something on my S3 in 2019, then it fell on the front, the screen broke and the touch didn’t work anymore. The next day I got a different unit, but I had everything transfered on to it. It was black S3.
