I'm sure others don't care much for it but I absolutely love the sounds of nature around you in your videos, so please dont ever think you need to remove or cover it up

I love it too, anyone who moans about it gets blocked from the channel haha. No jokes.

First off, perfect restoration. 100% amazing transformation. Secondly, I agree... Do not cover up the natural background noises. It's a whole lot better than what others use. 😊

I just restored a 28 hp Kohler new piston’s resized rods honed cylinders that were in great shape , motor runs and sounds new , it’s the holy grail of kohler engines
@AJRestoration2 ай бұрын
I love these Kohlers, I just don't find them here in my country too often. I have a Briggs 18 Flatty I want to restore some time in the future. Honda and Briggs are easy to find here, Kohler not so much sadly.

a really very good restoration, especially the fine details in the reworking of screws, levers and other metal parts is perfect. The only comment I have is the colour scheme, here too you should stick to the original black.

I purchased a Snapper rear engine rider back in 1995 that was equipped with a Kohler Command 14hp engine. Other than the leaky carburetor repair that it needed it still runs great. No smoke or oil consumption. I don’t use the old Snapper anymore but it was a good mower for that time period. 👍 Awesome powder coating that you used.

Tip for making solder stick better. sand the area that your going to solder really well and apply flux to it first. Also dont be afraid to bring it up to temperature with the iron by holding it longer on the metal. I've been soldering for many years. So im not just some random joe talkin out my butt. You'll find it works really well.

Thank you, I really have to get into the habit of using flux.

Shouldent the negitive rerminal on the coil go to the points instead of the positive???
@AJRestoration2 ай бұрын
At 1:44:14 you can see the negative does indeed go to the points and condenser. You are correct.

Carbs are so cheap to buy on Amazon or Ebay, I can't justify spending time rebuildimg bad carbs. Literally cheaper to replace.
@AJRestoration2 ай бұрын
If you live in the USA yes, the import cost for this carb to my country is 2 times the cost of the carb. I like the original carbs better. Its better quality than the china carbs.
