SUMMARY & PERSONAL THOUGHTS
Just wow... This car turned out to be unbelievable. I would have never thought that one day, I'd get my hands on a JDM imported Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR, an EVO 1, how crazy is that...
When this car came to me, one thing was for sure, it was in desperate need of revival. It was HEAVILY swirled up, looking as if it had a thin layer of oxidation throughout the entirety of the car. Because of how dense they were, and the fact that its a JDM car, I knew going into this that it had soft paint. So we had to act accordingly.
After some test spots immediately after the wash and decontamination stages, I found that using a medium/finishing polish with a Microfiber Cutting pad was the perfect combination for the "compounding" or "cutting" stage of the correction. Then finishing with a yellow rupes pad + a finishing polish from Menzerna.
Overall, just an astounding car. Due to the car being on Ethanol it gave me some hiccups starting up here and there (as you can hear at the start of the ending cinematic) but overall, just getting to drive this thing in front of the shop was an absolute dream. MAN, I love this old JDM cars so much.

I don’t know if this is exactly the person I’m talking to, but I do know this Evo 1 The guy with this Evo 1 commented on a facebook post of my Evo 1 GSR Yeah that’s me, the car is amazing Your Evo 1 and mine look great!

It might be, he's a local friend of mine and recently sold it like 1-3 months ago or so. It was such a gorgeous car once it left. And I drove it around to go get aftershots and I tell you, even with my 500hp Golf R, other fast cars I've driven, that EVO 1 GSR, at just 320-50ish hp, was the most fun and enjoyable experience, even just 1st and 2nd gear driving. I will never forget this car lol

@@errolbandalaya2606 evo 1/2/3 has the same squarish fenders as opposed to the rounded lancer/mirage. if you look at @10:35 those are the same as my evo 3. It's wide but i would say its only marginally wider, since the difference is that the evo can fit /8 wheels as opposed to /7.
