Totally fun to watch, Andy! I have done many of the same types of restorations over the years and I always thought it was a little bit more fun to do that rather than to make something brand new. I really enjoyed this, do more, do more! 👍 Phil

Hammer restoration of a hammer, Andy! Very nicely done indeed 👍🏻👏🏻 I love the contrasts between the shiny and the blued metal as well as between the padouk and oak of the handle 😊 Very ingenuous the way you turned the oval shape, well done! Fancy hammer for your fancy tools collection 😉 Are you actually going to use this one or will you hang it next to your fancy mallet, the one you said was too fancy to use? Would be a shame not to use it… As you say, at the end of the day it is „only“ a hammer, but it turned out really beautiful! Great to catch a glimpse or two of Ivy… and no rain hammering onto the roof… in a video about a hammer… 🤔 Take care, Andy, enjoy spring in Cornwall 🌸☀️🐝 Bye 👋🏻😉👋🏻 Jude

I've never used the cold blue before and never turned an oval shape... I will use this one... I never see Ivy when I'm filming until I do the editing and production.... That would have been funny had it been raining... Haha... I hope that you are all well in beautiful Switzerland... Take care Jude... all the best.....Andy 👋😉👋🔨🌧

@@AndysCornishCreations Mmmh, Hammer Productions, I had to look that up… You mean classic horror movies like Frankenstein, Dracula and the like? Would you more identify with Dr. Frankenstein or with Lord Dracula in this case? Interesting case for Dr. Freud… As for me, I was more into “Our little house on the prairie” back then… My brother made me watch “Nosferatu” once when Mum and Dad were out, and not only that, he told me that vampires were for real, which of course I happily believed and for several years only slept with my blanket up to my nostrils regardless outside temperatures… So that’s that… Still, looking forward to your next horror video production 👀

@AndysCornishCreations2 жыл бұрын
Hi Timothy... I'm glad that you like yours as I also love mine... It's very different from a conventional roughing gouge but I prefer it... @@AndysCornishCreations no, ive never used one. I have seen a few people use an English Wheel, which is similar. What I worked on were production items, mainly bent in a hydraulic press brake. The pieces would be bent into rectangular shapes, then fitted together, and welded at the seams. I did the fitting and welding. (usually with the "help" of my trusty hammers!)
