@@johnast yo are you in the states and what state if you are? I own a 06 zx6r that needs a little love since i dropped her and broke my collar bone last june. Bike is caged and everything so only cosmetic stuff like fairing were damaged. I think water has seeped through the gas tank since its been sitting garage stored since i went down. If youre interested in the whole bike as a parts bike, lemme know maybe we can work something out.

@@luckybguy owner prior to me snipped off the ground wire to the power commander. So the power commander wasn’t shooting fuel into the valves bc of the ground. Hella frustrating but man is she FUN to ride around

When you were putting on crash protectors it reminded me when I did the same with basic tools and the engine bolt snapped, my old man had the manual hand drill and I was there for an hour or so gnawing at it sweating and somehow managed to not fk things up. 😂 Bike looked fantastic after btw, you know your stuff.

Great effort bringing this one back to life. A couple of observations: 1) First audio track was a bit too Alvin and The Chipmunks. 2) The blacked out look would have been perfect for this bike, given how bold the fairing colour scheme is. So perhaps black pegs, discs etc next time? 3) Custom gauge set up is excellent!

Grab a book or do some reading online about how fuel injection works . Only time you have to touch the throttle with a factory fuel injected "anything" is during operation. Good video my apologies for the scrutiny I think its so funny when someone pumps the peddle or twist the throttle trying to start anything fuel injected. You were right the first attempt cycle the key 5 to ten times to prime the fuel system

I have an 06 and gas lock was seized I took apart cleaned with fresh gas oiled it and put back together worked like a charm

That's a heat shield so the exhaust doesn't melt the fairings

great work! When U R doing the decals for it You should modify the small sticker on the right side of the headlight fairing.Where it says Icon motorsport,to RK motorsport. I think that would make it more personalized,special and would make your company stand out a bit.

Did you heat the coolant up to drain it? If you want to flush the coolant, just fill it up with distilled, run the bike for a few seconds (no need to up to temp at all) and drain it cold!

I like to run it at least until the thermostat opens so I know the solution is running through the entire system to flush everything out
