Nice restoration project, should keep you busy for winter & Lockdown 3.0. Its lovely how old machines were put together and tight fitting slide joints. I'm surprised they were imperial (AF) nuts & bolts, my first thought was Whitworth (horrible stuff)!! Keep up the good work & stay safe. Now to watch PT 2

Hi Matt. That's a very nice bandsaw. Before you remove the grime from the dovetails see if they are stamped LH/RH or one or two centre punch marks etc. There might be matching marks on the machine casting so you don't reassemble them the wrong way around. Welcome to the club, looking forward to watching you restore this vintage machine. Tony

I feel like you need a little hidden door in the top of your garage that will let you take out the saw (with the top wheel on) if you need to. I know you have some space inside the garage, but I just feel like for longer pieces you might need more space, plus then you can use natural sunlight to see what you are doing! Just my 2 cents. I just think you could make a near invisible little door for it to go through. Nice saw! Cheers man!
