Having to do things more than once like on the pedal assy just means you are now officially "really good at it" and maybe on your way to being expert. I'm really good at a lot of things I never wanted to be....hehe. Also I'd watch the heck out of a 351c build. Just having one to build is pretty special.

If you use a diaphragm clutch you’ll probably have to remove that big assist spring. If you use an original type 3 finger clutch you’ll need it. Cool build man!!

That Cleveland would be a great engine for your Fairlane. My dad and I shoehorned one into his. We had to shave the shock towers and modify the existing oil pan. We made it work, though.

Stroked Cleveland would be a be in the ol girl! We’ll build a W and a C down the road and see how they both fair. I’ve always been a fan of the Cleveland’s but can’t hate on the Windsors!

I think there is interest in a Cleveland build but let me offer some insight into that. If it’s an M code motor it’s worth it. Also, reach out to Dragboss garage. He is the Cleveland expert as well as Track Boss (tim Meyer) for some innovative parts. Especially in the oiling area. I’ve built a few. They are awesome

Once the transmission fluid is that bad, iny experience the tranny is toast. I've been lucky twice after adding a treatment with the new fluid but 9 out of ten times, no luck.

Forsure, looked like it was never apart. Internals didn’t look all that bad, but pulled it apart to make sure nonetheless!
