We stayed at the Mansard House💙💙It was amazing to see everything they did in the series in real life!! We even met Ashley in person 💙 she was doing final checks on rooms 😳 She was so sweet. We have been watching them since the beginning!! Love the show. We restore old houses and their stuff is real. We will go back and stay again 💙

I love watching Restoring Galveston , I like a couple on youtube called , OUR FRENCH CHATEAU , their personality and the restoration work they do on their Chateau is fun to watch also , I wish they had a SHOW on Magnolia too ,

The Mansard House formerly known as the Smith-Perry Boarding House. It's beautifully restored/renovated, didn't even recognize it when the most recent but different tour I did with my mom, niece, and nephew. But no amount of money will make me stay here. Visited this place during a tour before it was renovated. Got bad vibes from it.

That's valid that you got bad vibes and don't want to stay there. Not only is it a large house, but it was a boarding house: so, lots of energies came through there. At least 2 comments so far have said that it's known to be haunted. I didn't know that about it but the Van Alstyne Gingerbread House at the southwest corner at 2901 Broadway is also said to be haunted, although I didn't know that when I set foot in the place and got a weird feeling.

Ok I did a ghost tour in Galveston and this place is one of the most haunted places. the hair stood up on the back of my neck the first time we went there. 😬
