Restoring My 996 Turbo's Interior

I tried giving my 996 interior a refresh with some paint and some pretty cool vinyl "wood" pieces to bring it back to some of its former glory. I've included the link below:

That’s a bummer that you couldn’t get the whole interior trim kit installed, but, it does look great with what you did. Can’t wait to see it in person.

Thanks bro! It adds a little more character to the interior. This car came with wood originally, but I was bummed that it couldn’t stand up to 20+ years lol

Thank you for taking the bullet on this! I figured some of the pieces wouldn't work with the curves on the 996. I may buy one use some of the smaller pieces as filler since they dont make them in carbon fiber.

Ohh yea definitely! I think it’s a great kit if you want to add a few carbon fiber pieces, but it’s disappointing if you want to use the whole thing. Lol Let me know if you go through with it!

Bummer that it all didn't fit right, but whatever did fit gives it a nice look. On my old Ducati I had issues with carbonfiber parts.

Cool job! I did that to my '99 Jeep 20+ years ago! What model JVC stereo do you have? I have a 2000 Carrera and need a new stereo. Are those stock speakers?

Thank you! It’s a JVC KW-NT500HDT (installed by a previous owner, along with aftermarket speakers and a subwoofer behind a rear seat)
