I was looking to restore my old 95 Buzz for a few years. My idiot 5 year old self decide to short him out by bring him to the tub, and since 2010, he's been hidden under my bed. I started having ideas of repairing him, but couldnt remember if he was thrown out with some other toys. Ever since Lightyear came out, I've been looking back and finally bothered to look for and fetch him. He's in even worse condition, with one of his joints loose, and I'm not certain if my parents took the batteries or if the electronics still work at all. But your work here inspired me the motivation to try and fix him as best as possible. Call me crazy or childish, but I feel like I am actually doing him a favor. Thank you for that.

i still have my old Buzz (also a 95 version wich we got from a second hand stall when i was about 7) other than some scratches on his back and a slight i think it's paint splotch on the back of his leg and his helmet needing a slight clean he's in great condition.. it would probably be completely functional with a pair of batteries though his joints are a bit stiff wich is probably due to dust buildup.. he still has all of his stickers (i was a careful kid.. and if i cared about the toy i would treat it as well as i possibly could..)

@@cmsstudio1093 ah i see yeah you've gotta be careful with the wires and how they are supposed to sit in the arm. though that shouldn't be too big of an issue as my main thing would be fixing the joints for wich i should theoretically not have to dismantle the entire arm.. i can keep most of the arm together while cleaning the joint as the elbow joint is still fine on both arms (the legs are the stiffest and the shoulder joints are also bad.. the elbow joint should be fine with a little grease however.. i suppose i've just gotta put some elbow grease in 😉)
