In this video we tackle veneer issues, including removing pieces of veneer that can't be saved, saving what we can and then doing our best to match old to new. Once all the veneer is down, we tackle the difficult job of color matching and refinishing this antique so she can go back home. Enjoy!

It's tough when you are doing anything let alone recording it for someone else to hopefully enjoy. The work alone takes time then you have to consider the video which is just another hurdle. That doesn't even take into account the editing. Posting a video adds at least 25% more time to a project if not more. So, Thank you for your content, effort, and time. I am always trying to learn more and I have learned from your videos.

Wow, really great video. My brother in law has an original Singer 66 Redeye in the original cabinet, 1911 treadle. This was super helpful to watch, and fascinating to learn this stuff. Very good audio and video. Thank you!

All 3 parts had me mesmerized watching your quality restoration! Singer himself and the workmen from 100 years ago who put these beauties together would be proud of your work. Thanks for posting this excellent video.

Wow! I'm in awe. This restoration series was so inspiring and informative to watch. I have a Singer 66K treadle on its way home to me atm and though that table hopefully won't need to be stripped down, this gave me some good ideas on how to care for it. Thank you!

I don't know why I like these sewing machine restorations so much. They just look so awesome when they're done.

Thank you so much for documenting this process. I’m about to start fixing my Singer and I learned a lot from this series. Luckily my machine is in a much better shape. It’s mostly the veneer that has come loose at the edges and needs to be glued down. And I’ll have also the sewing machine to clean and oil.

I bet the owner squealed with delight when they got that back - such a lovely rescue/restoration and all set to remain very beautiful for another century at least (longer if the future owners look after it, which they probably will because it will be seen as a lovely antique from now on and not just some junk in someone's attic, basement or shed). Bravo!
