I have a suggestion..For plants & trees- Mc Minnville Tennessee is the nursery capitol. They have several nurserys..(.I think you know who gets some of their plants from there,,) ,.I purchased several trees, shurbs, when we bought our home. Just do a google search. My uncle lived in Manchester Tn and we would go there alot. My neighbor has (thuja Green giants as her privacy along her yard.They grow fast and are beautiful..

Hey Julius! Great idea... We're actually moving out of Texas for good this weekend so we'll grab some footage although I might not use the word upgrade.... This house is smaller than the Texas house 😱.

My eldery neighbor told me many moons ago, She loved me to come and visit her because I made her laugh. (Her quote..Laughter is just what the dr. ordered). Picture this...I dressed up at Halloween , green face , made my nose out of wax..(GREEN) as I was talking to her..My green nose slid off my face. We laughed so hard we almost had to clean up a mess. Out of all your adventures in making your new home beautiful...add laughter, love...and friendship....

It's kind of sadly funny to hear you talk about getting near the finish line when you don't even have shingles or finished interior framing. From my experience, you're not near the finish line until it's time to install sinks, toilets, and light fixtures.

I hear ya Danae! For me it’s more about phases so I can feel the progress. Phase 1 was demo so getting to that finish line was an achievement 😁. This next phase is framing and roofing so it helps me to focus only on those things. After this is mechanical which is a whole new set of fun! Where of where should I put those wall sconces 😱
