Growing up in Bamford I Have loads of fond memories from my childhood of visiting the crimble with family and especially with grandparents. It was a fabulous place and it's a shock seeing how it is now. I hope you manage to get it back to how it was that would be fabulous for the area

Yeah that's what we think too. It started life in the 1500s, so it's older than many countries in the world! Definitely a landmark in northern England...

Me and my wife got married here in 2016. We chose this location as it had great memories of our family mainly grandparents who used to visit every Friday for a meal. Fond memories all around and we are gutted we couldn’t celebrate an anniversary or two here. Fantastic work that you’re taking this on as it’s such a waste of a wondering building

How on earth has it gotten into that condition so quickly? My son is 6 1/2 and we went for a family meal there when he was walking and fully eating so around 5 years ago. That has been stripped bear. Im presuming the plan was it’d get so bad it would “have to be demolished because it had become unsafe”. Good luck and hope you can save it.
