As I listened, I saw lots of opportunity for upland wildlife to etch-out a living in these systems. Perhaps, there’s a future for pheasants, quail, meadow larks, etc? Outstanding!

How to grow in desert(15"~/yr)with hevy Calcrete ( glacial till cemented/concrete) starting 4-12" depth going down 25'. Without trucking in everything? Improving my 4-12" Lusse ( blow dirt>20% clay, 40% silt, 40%fine sand, .4% OM into 3' of viable root zone is the goal

If we change the current desert areas that are 90% sand are we not changing a eco system that is home to many creature that thrive on this type of environment? It’s one thing to restore land that we know man has deforested but the great sands of this world feed another kind of eco system like the winds carrying the sand to other parts of the world to feed another eco system. This transformation is no different that the destruction of soil fertile into a waste land by tillage, just in reverse and why do we applaud this? What irreversible consequences will occur? China is doing this in large scales how will this affect the Himalayan’s?

I listen to this guy and I go buy 60,000 acres next day, now I listen again because farm cant grow in ocean, why that guy sell me ocean when I say I farm why the tricks I just want to farm but now I must fish with no boat
