Good work. I picked up a Scott Intoxica from a guy on Facebook for my sons 13th. Got it for pennies as it was an abandoned project, big mess of bags and boxes so rebuilding became a joint effort that worked out better than I could of hoped. Now we know it’s all good we can plan the repaint and upgrade mission.

I wish a had something like that when I was his age, just a couple of pointers with the grips you’ve got them on back to front, so you should be able to see the race face logo at the front of the bike and with the bar ends using a mallet to push down the flaps on them.
@BuildaBetterBike4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! The reason the bar ends won't stay is actually because the grips are too large for the bars. They are adult grips :)

Taking off the excess while the sticker is still on the paper and using a weak transfer tape makes transferring and aligning stickers easier for me.
@BrennanLetkeman4 жыл бұрын
pro-tip for the vinyl: if you weed the pieces before you use the transfer film you don't have to use the xacto directly on the bike. it's way easier to just stab through the backing paper to remove the middles and outlines of letters and things when you're not worried about the paint
