Wonderfully presented with a nice blend of info and humor. One thing I would suggest is to remove your cycling shorts as soon as you are done for the day. Turn them inside out to let them air and dry. This will help reduce the possibility of getting sores. Thanks for all the great content.

Pretty good list - and even better presenter - the dog poo bag feet hack was a new one for me - I just take overshoes... Something I've valued on long multiday rides has been a dedicated drive train cleaning kit: small bottle of degreaser, a tiny can of WD40 a nail brush and microfibre cloth. Cleaned chain every morning then re-lubed it to keep things running smoothly (used on Brussels-Sweden-Brussels trip last summer)...

For proper tyre holes for when out in the sticks when you need a more permanent solution I would recommend a moped/motorbike tubeless repair plug ‘Tyre puncture repair plug’ For when bicycle tyre plugs don’t work and a tyre boot won’t stick or not ideal.

I might be too risk averse but a shoe (or similar) strapped to a fork when bouncing around off-road is a great way to become more familiar with hospital staff. 😮 The straps are super useful though elsewhere

Hi Terry, This was just a silly example from Mike to show a way to use Fast Straps - there's loads of other options, and if you do chose to mount items to your forks, we'd recommend our Carry Cages, available on our store :)

Love the straps but would be great if you done them in different widths.

For small pots for cream or containers for shower gel, shampoo or something to carry a bit of grease or oil I would recommend looking at the Japanese shop (in Uk) called ‘Muji’ They have an online shop and physical shops

Also, you can use a contact lens case, preferably one with screw lids as they are more secure. I carry one that holds grease on one side and carbon paste on the other. Plus, it keeps at least one old contact case from winding up in the trash.

@Restrap what's the attachment on the fork that the cat eye light is attached to? Been looking for something like that as have same light and it's not tall enough to see over the restrap bar pack when attached to my bars.

Great tips, my only comment would be one I'm shouting about a lot and its, leave the shoes and socks at home and wear spd sandals.

The video seems to be ungraded You can use the camera but. Even dropping the black and raising the highlights until it looks more natural is better. If your shooting in Log you need to grade or use a lut.

You forgot pot noodles. About 4 per day. Then all you need is a Kelly Kettle. And cake. Lots of fruit cake.
