I got a grade 5 on my mock to getting a grade 9 in my real GCSE exam. I did not anticipate I would get a 9 for RE today my mouth just dropped. Thank you so much for doing what you do, your videos were an absolute life saver and your advice for the exams were so so helpful. The little things went such a long way, and I wanted to say thank you so so much Ben. I hope more and more people find your channel for RE. When I was in grade school, I was very cruel to myself. I was using achieving top grades as a way to achieve my sense of self-worth. Reading Ecclesiastes made me realize that my anxiety over grades and my status was ridiculous. Anton Bruckner did not write a hit symphony until his forties. Mozart was dead by that age.

I switched to a Church of England school where the RE Short course was mandatory. Having never studied RE before, I was completely lost. Fortunately, I found your videos, which were my sole study resource. After just a month of using your materials, I was astonished to receive a grade 8 in my first mock exam. got a grade 3 in feburary, watched this guy once a day before my paper 1 exam, ended up with a 9 whilst our actual re teacher just quit the school in march so we only had supply teachers who wouldnt teach leading up to the exam

gcse results in a week... I've made the decision to not open them at school because even if I do well I know that "what did you get???" constantly is gonna make me really anxious so I'm just doing it with my best friend. A tip I have for anyone reading is to plan a full day around results day (I'm going bowling and shopping) so for example you're disappointed, it's fine because you can still have a good day, and if you do really well then it's celebrating it so either way I think that helps a lot to avoid anxiety around it and to stop dwelling/have a break!

I accidentally fell asleep in the mock cuz i was drained and as a result got a Grade 1+😢😢. I was 2 marks away from a Grade 2. Hopefully i get higher this time

honestly don't worry about mocks, you can go up multiple grades fairly easily, of course hope for the best but it's definitely not the end of the world
