Just recently found your channel and I'm really enjoying your prospective on bee keeping. I use some of Walt Wright's methods but have never fully committed to it. Your information help me understand that quite a bit better. Looks like an early year here in the Piedmont of souther NC......pollen is pouring in. I appreciate all you guys that take the time to make these video's. Beekeeping is hard enough let alone making a video of it.

Glad to see you had a great year. Hopefully 2023 will be. I had a good season and so far the artic blast didn't do any harm here in north alabama to my colonies. Catch you on the next one. ❤️🐝👍

Queen excluders are a tool that requires it’s own management techniques. Those that call them honey excluders haven’t daughters out how to use them appropriately. Glad your having success and learning along the way like everyone should be doing

Randall, it’s good to see you back in a video! I’m looking forward to seeing your videos this year. We are not very far apart geographically maybe 80 miles so I definitely like to see how its going there and I’ve learned a lot from you. I did the offset stacking last year like you do and it worked great for me.

Thank you, i am making some changes this year. I think you might see swarms as early as march 5th this year in your area I am seeing hazel alder and red maple starting to bloom at almost the same time. I have never saw that before. Usually red maple starts 2 weeks behind alder here.

I'm glad to see you back making videos. Good luck in 2023. It would be good to know what your goals for this year are - in addition to queen rearing.

Hello Hello Randall it is good to see you have got your head above water or snow what ever you had this winter. Here is something that I have been using for a few years an I like it . The man I started purchasing my wooden ware from he makes the screen top inter cover that I really like well also I run all screen bottom boards also but the top inter with that screen I think it really helps the bees dry out the honey. I do not know if you have ever tried them or not but maybe you could put one on an see how it does for you . Another thing I run all telescoping covers . Just a idea for you . Looking forward to your videos this season. ya something else I forgot to say also he has started making a super box that goes up on top of the stack an that super box has a fan in them to help pull the air up thru the colony to help dry honey an it works . On my $$$ I will just have to do it the hard way ( maybe down the road I may get some ) . Anyway. THANKS

I had similar results with checker boarding my supers. Thanks I will now leave all my foundation together. The thick frames are difficult to work with. Had honey in the thin ones and hard to uncap.
