Another nice project Mark. I think your problem is related to the start stop system. As I think when you press the brake pedal, the starter motor is trying to engage and start the engine. It's all related to the barrel talking to the ECU. Once fitted, it should be fine. Worst scenario is to disable the start stop. Hope this helps.👍 👍

Hi there ref to the head lights 320 them then mask up around the head lights and get some good quality clear coat and spray then I done it to mine and what a difference

Hi Mark you don't need to pass the key through the reader as long as the key is close by it will pick it up and read the key

He will use the inside out the original barrel into your new one. So the pins match up

How about the cabin filter? Must be as dirty as the air filter. Why did the locksmith leave all the mess in the footwell? Very unprofessional not to clean the mess up

By the look of it, the locksmith is going to need the ignition barrel & housing.
