I definitely prefer the closer to vanilla look that Rethinking gives, not too big a fan of realistic clouds in Minecraft. Hope they add support for distant horizons soon.

Rethinking voxels is acurate but soft voxels more realistic. If soft voxels had same mirror efect it would be easy win for it but without its hard to choose.

Not a great comparison video imo. Both shader packs have settings for changing the water and sky materials and so on. What the comparison should be about is what these two shaders are famous for, which is their shadow casting. You can compare in sections like at 4:07 and 5:12, but the rest is not really so relevant.
